1,025… Good enough for 2nd place and a sticker prize! 🥈🤠




In August my gym (Tangletown CrossFit in Minneapolis, MN) put on a pull-up challenge: See how many strict pull-ups (overhand, underhand, and hammer grip all accepted) you can do throughout the month.
It was a bit of a grind, but I chipped away every couple of days (I was proud of myself for avoiding an overuse injury by implementing a bunch of recovery days) and eventually realized 1,000 was in reach. Having never done 1,000 pull-ups in a month I made a go for it and surpassed it on the last day of August! 🥳
I also decided to sprinkle in 1,025 push-ups throughout the month which is great, because our next (September) challenge is just that: PUSH-UPS! 🎉🎉
We’ll see if I can win another sticker… 😊💪
P.S. A huge congrats to Jaime Villanueva (Instagram: @3litenutrition) for taking 1st place with 2,385 pull-ups (a CRAZY amount!!). 🏆
