Does one ever really regret working out? 🤔
For some reason I always find it more difficult to get my weekend home workouts in (versus my weekday ones at Tangletown CrossFit), especially on days like today…
This afternoon I was tired, had a headache, and just wanted to sit back and watch the Vikings game. 🏈😊
Working out was honestly one of the LAST things I wanted to do.
BUT, it was on my schedule, Kate was giving me the time to do it, and I knew from so many times before that I’d feel (physically AND mentally) like a million bucks afterwards.
So, I trudged to the basement gym and started to put in the work!
I didn’t do anything fancy or crazy difficult. But I pushed myself, used my muscles, and broke a sweat. And, just like I already knew, I felt AWESOME afterwards. 💪😃
If you’re feeling unmotivated at the moment, here’s my encouragement:
Think of how happy you’ll be AFTER your workout. Then, no matter how many excuses start popping up, get your workout started (once you start, it’s a ton easier to keep going!). I guarantee you won’t regret it… 😉
Have a wonderful workout! You’ve got this! 👍💪🏆
In Christ,
Greg
