HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND HOLY

This is the kind of prayer I need to say on a more regular basis…

Too often I do all the talking, complaining, and requesting. I basically say, “Be quiet, Lord, I’m speaking!”

But what if the Lord is just waiting to speak to us? Will we have the courage and patience to actually quiet ourselves in the presence of God and let Him speak to our hearts?

My challenge to you (and definitely myself!) is to turn to God right now and say, along with Samuel, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening”. 

Then, give God 1 full minute (It’s just 60 seconds – totally doable!) to speak to your heart in the stillness and silence that you’ve created.
