1 Down, 2 To Go!

CrossFit Open workout 23.1 is officially in the books!

Here was the scaled version of the workout that I did:

14:00 minutes AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible)

60 calorie row
50 hanging knee raises
40 14# wall balls
30 95# power cleans
20 pull-ups

I managed to get through everything (200 total reps) with about 1.5 seconds to spare (not even enough time to sit back on the rower and give it one pull 😆).

Even though I’ve been a part of a CrossFit gym since 2019, this is my first time doing the CrossFit Open. Year 1 I was such a newbie that the thought of participating scared me to death. 😂 Year 2 I was coming fresh off of a knee surgery. And last year I hung back because of a back issue that I was being cautious with.

So, while I’m in no way expecting to blow any of this year’s 3 Open workouts of the water, I’m REALLY excited for the challenge of them and the chance to compete alongside the awesome gang at Tangletown CrossFit and hundreds of thousands of other CrossFitters around the world!

Workout 23.2, here we come! 🤠
