“JUST GET STARTED.”
This is what I had to tell myself today – NUMEROUS TIMES! 🤪
I was tired.
I was feeling the effects of Thanksgiving scarfing and a few follow-up days of leftover pie (my mom’s chocolate chip pecan pie is just SO GOOD! 😋).
And I’d just much rather workout with the crew at my CrossFit gym…
BUT, I knew that if I just got started (putting my workout clothes on, making my way to the basement, prepping a playlist, and eventually clicking the timer on my watch) that my mindset would adjust and my body would start thanking me for moving it and breaking a sweat.
About 19 minutes later I was done and feeling like a million bucks. 🤩
And this is the story TIME AND TIME AGAIN.
So, if you’re feeling completely unmotivated to do something (workout, wash the dishes, finish a project, etc.), I encourage you to “JUST GET STARTED”.
Before you know it, you’ll be halfway done and excited to push through to the finish! 😃💪😇
